Balam Bali Villa team and its guests went to Lempuyang temple
(East Bali) during Galungan day, 20th August 2008.
Galungan is an important religious ceremony in Bali.
It is held every six months throughout the island and lasts 10 days.
The Galungan festivity symbolises the victory of dharma (order)
over adharma (disorder). The streets are lined with Penjor,
a tall and curved bamboo pole decorated with young coconut leaves,
and the shrines of the temples are wrapped with yellow and white cloths.
